There are two types of artificial turf available from L.A. faux Grass: Classic Grass and Super Grass. Both have four layers for maximum shock absorption and durability. The top layer consists of the blades of grass, which come in either olive green with thicker blades in the Classic Grass, or mat dark green with thinner mono blades in the Super Grass. Underneath the blades in both types of L.A. faux Grass is a rubber infill, which gives the grass the cushioning it needs to make a safe artificial turf for any play area. The last thing you want is an artificial grass that looks as soft as real grass but is actually thin and hard as a rock when you tumble around on it. The rubber infill that we use makes our artificial grass as comfortable as it is beautiful. Beneath the rubber infill we use a geotextile backing material for greater stability, and beneath that there is a crushed stone base. The crushed stone base allows for efficient drainage and it helps prevent mold and mildew.
